Room 193 Update

FOOD SHELF

Please continue to send in nonperishable foods for the Colchester Food Shelf.  I received an e-mail yesterday asking for hardy soups, peanut butter and jelly, pasta and sauce. The kids are really excited to be helping others in need.

FIT FRIDAYS

Ms. McGrain and I  are planning some fun and active Fridays in the month of February.   We want to encourage kids to be more active during these cold winter months, both indoors and out. We would love to have parent/family support if you are available. If you have a special skill/talent that you would like to share, please let me know. We are hoping to find as many different activities to include as possible. Do you, or someone you know, teach yoga, zumba, Tae- Kwan Do etc. ? We would love to invite you in for a whole group lesson in the gym or two smaller group lessons in the classroom. Please let me know if you are able to help.  Thanks!

New Goals in the New Year!

Happy January Families!

January is the perfect time for setting goals and new beginnings. My goal will be to make regular posts to our classroom blog. Over the next week you will be able to see some of the fun things that have happened here at school this fall. I will try to update this blog regularly so that you are informed of all of the exciting things happening here in room 193. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
FOOD DRIVE

Next week, our class will be working with Mr. Renner’s class to collect non perishable items for the food shelf. Please send in food Monday 1/28 through Friday 2/1 to support the Colchester Food Shelf. Next Friday we will make a canstruction (a piece of art made with all of your donations). Thank you in advance for helping with this important project. Have a wonderful weekend!
