We had an incredible day at Shelburne Museum today! The students learned a lot and had a wonderful time. Be sure to ask your child all about it. Tomorrow we will take some time to talk  and write about our favorite parts of the day (I know my group missed a few places). This will be a great opportunity for students to learn from their classmates and share their experiences. Chaperones, thank you so much for attending this great trip, I couldn’t have done it without you!

Tomorrow we will also be celebrating Memorial Day with an assembly. Students and teachers will be wearing red, white and blue. Many of the students left from the museum with their parents and they did not hear this announcement.

 

We had a wonderful visit with Andrew and Stacie from the Merchants Bank in Colchester today. They came in to teach us about a variety of useful topics. We discussed the benefits of saving, the difference between wants and needs, how to set goals to save and we even played a fun game. They sent an allowance game for you to play at home. Be sure to ask your child about these fun activities.
