We had a fun filled week this week! The students worked on their Iroquois false faces masks that they will being giving to other students on Tuesday during our Potlatch. We had an Abenaki presenter come in on Monday and talk to the students all about his culture. They were able to see wood work, traditional clothing, handmade baskets, and sing a traditional song. Check out some of the pictures! We finished up our unit in math and the student’s took their test on Tuesday. I’m so happy with how well they did! We will begin unit four after break. I am sending home an overview of the unit with your child on Monday.

Thank you to all who have been willing to donate a bag of popcorn for our Potlatch on Tuesday. I’d love to have all of the bags by Monday and at the latest, Tuesday morning. I also sent home a permission slip to watch the movie Matilda yesterday. If your child hasn’t brought that back yet please have them do so as I want all the students to be able to watch the movie on Tuesday!

Hope everyone has a wonderful break and holiday season!
