We had an amazing field trip today! We visited the Flynn Theater to see the Peking Acrobats perform. It was an incredible show, be sure to ask your child about it.

Our class enjoyed a presentation on dental health from Jen, who is a parent in Mrs. Cioffi’s class as well as a dental hygienist at Timberlane Dental. We learned a great deal about taking care of our teeth, heard a great story and even received a goody bag to take home. It was a wonderful presentation, please ask your child all about it!

We had an incredible time at the musical petting zoo! Ms. Rebecca joined us from the VSO and taught us about a variety of instruments. I was helping with the brass instruments, but asked Mr. Mast to take a few pictures. I wish I was able to get a picture of each child. Please ask your child about this fun activity!

We had a wonderful workshop today from the Flynn. Miss Sue came to our classroom to teach the students about the Peking acrobats and to run a movement workshop. She gave them some pointers on using their bodies safely in the space as well as the importance of trusting our partners. It was a wonderful morning and the kids did a great job. They are really looking forward to the Flynn performance on Friday.
